Always Lossless mode

Using Always lossless mode will ensure that no image lossy data is ever sent to the client. This means that every frame will only be encoded with a lossless codec and the quality will be pixel perfect.

The compression ratio of always lossless is not nearly as good as with using other modes and setting always lossless mode will use a significant amount of bandwidth. This can significantly impact interactivity when there is not enough bandwidth available.

Citrix only recommends using this setting for specific use cases where lossless image quality is required such as medical imaging use cases.
